PCA Administrator

The Principal is responsible for the overall monitoring of board compliance, SPF monitoring structures, and the evaluation of site-based leaders (PADEPP). This work includes monitoring the submission of state reports, federal program monitoring such as Title I & II compliance, and completing the PADEPP evaluation of the Principal. The Principal is responsible for all functions related to the non-profit management, governance, and school compliance with SCDE. This list of responsibilities include but is not limited to: (a) Maintaining the board dashboard; (b) Submitting reports to SCDE; (c) Oversight of external contracts; and (d) Fundraising. The Principal also serves as the instructional
leader of Palmetto Career Academy. The Principal ensures instruction is executed with high capacity, teacher development programs, targeting teacher needs, and closely monitoring student achievement data. The Principal also completes ADEPT evaluation on instructional staff. The Principal’s responsibilities include
monitoring teacher effectiveness and ensuring high levels of student achievement. Additional
responsibilities include: (a) Completion of observation cycles with faculty; (b) Teacher training calendar; (c) Master Scheduling; and (d) Federal program oversight including Title I & II.
